I had the pleasure of taking Laura and Brandon’s Pensacola Beach engagement photos earlier this year and let me tell you, it ended up being a magical evening!
Laura reached out to me about photographing their September 25th wedding and I could not have been more excited as I listened to her vision for their beach house wedding. When I got to meet them in person it was easy to see just how made for each other they are. They are truly some of the kindest and most genuine people I’ve ever met.
We met at Johnson’s Beach for their engagement session, and although we had to adjust some plans after seeing the closures from the recent hurricane, we were able to get some stunners for sure. We made our way down the closed road on foot to a less busy beach access point and magic was made.
I hope you enjoy these Pensacola Beach engagement photos just as much as I enjoyed photographing them. And bonus, I get to see these two a week from today!
Just a few tips if you’re planning on a beach engagement session – be prepared for sand everywhere. And I mean EVERYWHERE. Bringing a small tote along to keep your things (phone, wallet, keys, etc.) out of the sand is ideal.
Bring water! Seriously, even in the cooler months, Florida beaches can be hot. Drinking lots of water can help prevent fatigue and heat exhaustion.
Bring a change of clothes. Water photos are always my favorite photos, and even in you’re not planning on getting more than your feet wet, you never know when a rogue wave will come up and slap you in the butt. Bring an extra change of clothes to make sure your drive back to your rental isn’t too uncomfortable.
